Post PLEASE READ: HOW TO CONNECT TO THE SERVER
The mod has the Global server workaround integrated , just hit multiplayer and search for the Server the only one Bright .

If the new global server is down (list of servers remains empty) you can connect directly to the BSG server with the IP :
Run the fldirectip.hta file in your Freelancer EXE folder and type in the server IP: 85.17.221.27
port :2302

Optional but recommended : BSG shortcut
Download and run this little application: BSG shortcut setup

It will simply create a “BSG Freelancer” shortcut on your desktop and Start menu.
If you launch Freelancer by clicking on the BSG Freelancer shortcut , you will always see the BSG server , whether the global server is up or down 8)

Just out of curiosity, how did you get the short cut to bypass the world server. because im not only seeing your server but all the other servers that havnt shut down. Is there a way to get it to work for the normal version of freelancer??
