Post FTL, SFTL, and Chords tutorial
Here are a few tips on how to use the /chords, /sftl and /ftl commands.

First its important to understand how to get the the coordinates that you'll be wanting to use for your FTL jumps. To get the coordinates of an object, target that object and type /chords.
(example, I target the caprica dock and type /chords. The results are displayed on the left of the screen in green. In this case it says: -33500, 0, 34000.)

If the object that you are selecting is a planetary dock you will be able to use the exact coordinates that the /chords command gives you. However, if the object you are targeting is a station, you will need to change the coordinates slightly so that you don't jump to the inside of the station.

I've found that the easies way to do this is by adding a value of 500 into the middle number. (this determines the height of your arrival point) wich will put you just above the station.
(i.e. Battlestar Galactica -66000, 0, -71500 becomes -66000, 500, -71500)

So now you understand coordinates, how do you use them?

There are two different methods of using the FTL drive; in system jumps and out system jumps.

For jumps within the current system (in system) you use the " /SFTL " command.
To use the command, open a chat box and type /sftl and the coordinates of your target (you do not have to have anything targeted for in system jumps.)
YOU MUST TYPE IN THE COMMAND IN THE FOLLOWING FORMAT OR YOU WILL NOT JUMP TO YOUR CHOOSEN LOCATION.

/SFTL XXXX, XXXXX, XXXXX
(you must have a comma and a space between each group of numbers. or you will get dumped either in the center of the system, or at a random location)

For jumps to locations outside of your current system, you must first target the Jump Hole that goes into the system you'll be traveling to. (you can only jump one system away.)
Then you will use the " /FTL " command. The format is as follows:
"/FTL -66000, 500, -71500"
(i.e. I'm at the arena, and I want to go to galactica. so I target the caprica jump hole and type "/ftl -66000, 500, -71500" and hit enter. After the jump I'm floating above Battlestar Galactica.)
