 Descriptions for Engines
ION Drive : Ion drives are electromagnetically oriented engines that when focused properly make an electric blue flame, used wonderfully as a means of propulsion. The electromagnetic field generated by these engines when diverted properly allows for easy Faster than Light Travel, or even Sub Light Speeds. Which ever the situation calls for.
Voram VM2 D15 : The Voram VM2 D15 Super Thrust engine is a smaller model of the Voram VM2 D22 super thrust Engine that is most commonly used by the colonial fleet, specifically on Vipers. They allow for quick and agile movement through space at the cost of only being capable of near Sub-Light Travel.
Tachyon Drive : Due to the nature of Tachyons, particles that move faster than the speed of light, these drives can cause strange time warps if they are not properly maintained. They are otherwise are a very efficient means of propulsion and Faster than Light Travel.
Fusion Drive : Fusion Drives are very efficient. The energy that is generated by a fusion drive typically leaves the ships exhaust near the speed of light. With proper adjustments Sub Light speeds are easlily attainable with these drives, while Faster than Light jumps can be done with the proper amount of Tylium injected into the system.
Going by all logical and scientific facts, any ship that can/will do a FTL Jump will have to be fitted with an inertialess drive. As I imagine that is how they do it. Inertialess drives essentially change the targets(I.E A battlestar/raptor etc) mass to zero then shoots it off towards its target destination at the speed of light, or in this case faster than the speed of light. So with that in mind here's what I came up with. So might consider changing how these drives are aquired/used/operate in game. Make them required to jump possibly? Keeping in mind that these are more based off of how the game works as opposed to the show where they are really bending/folding space to instantly jump from point A to point B
Inertialess Drive(FTL) : Intertialess drives are fitted to all ships of the colonial fleet as well as the Cylons. They are required to do FTL jumps. Tylium is the main fuel for these drives as it is the only material known at present to produce the amount of energy needed to move across space at high speed. Used for basic propulsion, it is capable of any speed necessary, as it is capable of changing any ships mass to zero. Rumors have been spread that the Cylons have a method of modifying these drives to make Deep Space FTL jumps for the same amount of fuel.

 Re: Descriptions for Engines
No, it is just a description you see about the engines. When you go to say the market and select an item, the bit of onformation you see about that item is an Info Card.

 Re: Descriptions for Engines
i also recomend that the coulour is in every description and there is a text everywhere like: (engines will only change the engine coulour) and for the ftl dirves i would like to have somthing like a class for every ship cause its nonsense that you need as much tylium for a viper as for a battlestar

 Re: Descriptions for Engines
Many of the info card descriptions that you see have been submitted by players on the server, the MOD's idea was to get the members really involved with a small item that is often overlooked whilst they get on with making mega looking ships for you to all fly around in ....
